Individual tax returns

Individual tax returns, prepared and explained by a CPA

Form 1040 with the schedules your situation needs: self-employment, investments, rental property. Quoted in writing before we start, and explained in English, Nepali or Hindi.

What we prepare

  • Form 1040 for individuals and married couples
  • Schedule C for sole proprietors and single-member LLCs, with Schedule SE for self-employment tax
  • Schedule D for sales of stock, crypto and other investments
  • Schedule E for rental property and K-1 income from partnerships and S corporations
  • Quarterly estimated tax figures and extensions (Form 4868)

Texas has no state income tax — but your federal return still matters

Texas does not tax personal income, so most Texans file only a federal return. That return still decides your refund or balance due, your self-employment tax, and the estimated payments you owe for next year. If you moved to Texas during the year, the state you left may still expect a part-year return.

Documents to bring

  • Last year's federal tax return
  • W-2s from every employer
  • 1099 forms: 1099-NEC, 1099-K, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B and any others you received
  • Form 1098 for mortgage interest, 1098-T for tuition, 1095-A if you bought insurance on the Marketplace
  • Records of business income and expenses if you are self-employed
  • Records of estimated tax payments you made during the year
